'FRANK IVES SCUDAMORE/CHIEF EXAMINER' HAND STAMP ON BLOCK OF SIX DIE 2 1D PL. 6 (SG21). A good to fine mint block of 6 1855 die 2 1d plate 6 S.C.16 (SG 21) lettered QC QD QE /RC RD RE, centred low, slight creasing and some perf separation, but fine original gum. Block with two fine large part strikes of the 'FRANK IVES SCUDAMORE/CHIEF EXAMINER' hand stamp in black. Hand stamp applied to sheets earmarked for destruction but fortunately not done so! (Ref 64429).
